Berry Fun Field Trip

Kindergarten and Up

"Berry Fun" trips are available from March 26th through June 12th, 2009
Hayfield Maze trips are available May 29th through June 19th

Reservations Required for these activities.

·          Visit to the Patch - each child gets to pick a pint basket from one of the crops in-season– strawberries or blackberries and hear a talk  about growing fruit.

·          Ladybug Love  ( hear a talk about insects and their effect)

·          Garden variety weighing game (children “dig” up vegetables and determine if they grow underground, and weigh them to see which team has found the heaviest veggies.)

·          Splatberry game (children will sling fruit at a target)

·          Activity time

·          Picture taking opportunity with your class

·          Coloring Book “Strawberry Time”

·          Picnic Area for your snack or lunch, and visit the farm animals

The cost per child is $5.75

There is no charge for parents/guardians with Spring groups.  Most adults prefer to get one of our larger
      containers and pick for themselves.  Strawberries are $2.50/lb, Blackberries are $2.75/lb.

Groups arriving with less than 20 children will be charged a minimum of $115.00

For an Additional charge of $1.00/ child, each child will get one scoop of Homemade Ice Cream
