Dear Group Coordinators,

Sweet Berry Farm is excited about the possibility of hosting your children.  Our farm provides an outdoor educational activity that will be sweetly remembered for years to come.  The farm is open to the general public as well, should you need to view our facilities or visit with us in person.  Below are a few guidelines and suggestions we have come up with over the years.

Reservations are Required

·          Your appointment time is the time of your first activity.  We ask you to plan your arrival time 15 minutes prior to your
scheduled time.  This will allow  time to check-in, pay, unload children, restroom break etc.

·          Berry field trips take approximately 1.5 to 2 hours without time allotted for lunch.  Smaller groups could range from 45
      minutes to 1.5 hours

·          We recommend children using the restrooms before or after all the activities.

·          Your group will be divided into classes, in order to operate on a rotation basis.

·          You may opt to have lunch either before or after your field trip, we are not able to stop in the middle.

·          Please have your sack lunches in closed containers (ice chest or boxes with lids) and have your parents help unload them just before your lunch time.

·          We have water for you to wash your hands, but recommend bringing antibacterial hand wipes for your class to use.

·          We also suggest bringing gallon-size Ziploc baggies, and one laundry basket size box per class to put the children’s berries in.

·          The group coordinator must collect all fees and pay cashier at time of check-in.   Fees  will be applied for siblings
that wish to participate with the group, no exceptions.

·          Teachers will receive free admission.

·          There is no charge for parents/ guardians with Spring groups.  Most adults prefer to get one of our larger containers and
pick for themselves.  Strawberries are $2.50/lb and Blackberries are $2.75/lb.

·          We suggest that you wear closed toed shoes and comfortable clothing - don't forget a jacket or sweater.  This is a working farm.

·          Cancellations:  Cancellations are possible up to two weeks before scheduled trip.  Cancellations need to be person to person,
messages left on voice mail are not acceptable.  “No Shows” will result in the school being billed as if the trip took place.
Further visits from that school will have to be paid for in advance.

·          In case of rain, Sweet Berry Farm will make any cancellation decisions the morning of the trip.  Please call that morning if
      you have questions.

·          We accept cash or check only.

·          Hours: 8:30-5:30 Mon.-Sat. Sun 1:00-5:00   closed Wed.

We look forward to seeing

you soon!
